As a smaller farmer we are not rich, so when we need something it is time to to Bodge! (in the good way) So what do you get when you combined: 1. old wood wagon you found in the woods, 2. 1 1000 liter tote, 3. the tongue off a broken baler with pto drive shaft, 4. a new pump and 5. plumbing parts?
Well you get a well needed water wagon to move all around the farm. Now we can water with ease and pressure! This is a big improvement over filling the tote with a sub-pump and a 100′ of extension cords. Then gravity feed hand buckets to water an acre of garden.
A little know how we set the pump up to do a couple things:
1. The pump will pump out of our pond straight through to the hose to direct water.
2. Change some valves and it will pump out of our pond into the tote.
3. Again change some valves and it will pump out of the tote to the hose to direct water.
Well back to farming for me, it is plant season!
